This page has been put in place to aid in the navigation of state pages on the internet.

Links

While navigating state Web Pages you will find many departments use buttons to link the current page to a new page. You can tell that a graphic (picture) or text is a link by moving the mouse pointer over the suspected link. When the pointer moves over a internet link, the pointer will change to another picture. (The pointer when the mouse is moved over a link is a hand with a pointing finger.) Basically, anytime your cursor changes to a pointing hand you have found a link to another page.

Searching State Pages

A good way to find the information you desire is to use the state search engine. Currently we are indexing over 350,000 web pages and PDF documents.
  1. First, think of words that describe the information in question. (Keywords)
  2. Secondly, go to the search page.
  3. Third, type one of your best keywords into the search box.
  4. Fourth, click the SEARCH button to the right of the box and wait for results.
  5. Fifth, the results page will show fifteen results at a time. If there are more than fifteen results, they will appear in the next pages that can be accessed from the top or bottom of the results page.
  6. Sixth, if you don't get the results you were looking for, press the back button (top left hand part of your browser) and start over with a different keyword.
If you would like to search one or more state agencies or departments please click on the Advanced Search Option and mark all the desired entities either by clicking on its name or checkbox.

If you are looking for a shortcut to get to a state agency, look no further. Below are links to the pages of each form of government.

Feedback and Contact Information

Here is a link to a page containing E-mail addresses of State Agencies and Offices. The email sent to those addresses will go directly to that state agency. If you have a general question or comment you can send them to the Webmaster.

Adobe Acrobat

As you go around the state's Web Site you will find information that can be downloaded. Most agencies now use a .pdf format which must be opened with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click on the link to get instructions on how to download and install the Acrobat Reader.
