The South Dakota Tree

The South Dakota Tree, a 38-foot blue spruce, is from the Brandon home of Cassandra and Brandon Deffenbaugh. The tree was decorated this year by the Department of Game, Fish & Parks Outdoor Campus. The tree was so large when it was cut that it had to be trimmed to fit in the Capitol.
